2026 Activities For Less Fee Assistance
(Cambridge Permanent Residents only)
For qualifying activity fees and memberships directly offered by the City of Cambridge, Recreation and Culture Division. Qualified family members receive $300 assistance per year.
It’s Easy to Apply:
- Complete, sign and date the application form.
- Attach copies of current tax year Revenue Canada, Notice of Assessment for all adults in the household (copies only, no originals).
- If income is $0 you must still provide a copy of Revenue Canada, Notice of Assessment.
- If the Assessment does not show your current address please provide proof of same.
Incomplete applications will be returned by mail requesting the required information.
Submission of an application does not guarantee receiving fee assistance. Fee Assistance must be approved before registering for an activity/membership, it will not be applied after the registration has been processed.
Eligibility is based on total household income.
Statistics Canada Low Income Level Indicators determine eligibility. If your application is approved, you will receive confirmation.

You must apply annually for Fee Assistance. Fee assistance starts from the date of approval for one full year. Subsequent applications are accepted no earlier than 3 weeks prior to the expiry of current approved fee assistance.
